POP3

With POP3 (Post Office Protocol) you can download your e-mails quickly and easily with any compatible and up-to-date e-mail client. You can decide whether the e-mails should be left on the server or deleted from the server.

IMAP

Syncing made easy. With IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), all e-mail folders are synchronized on all devices so that the same data status is always available.

SMTP

SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the standardized, reliable transport protocol for your emails. By default, we use TLS for secure encryption of the mail transport route.

POP3, IMAP1, SMTP2 Settings for your email client

Using email client programs such as Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird, you can also manage your e-mails on your laptop at home or in the office. Most smartphones also offer the option of calling up e-mails using the POP3 and IMAP protocol and sending them using the SMTP protocol.

With POP3 / IMAP / SMTP access data you configure your e-mail program in a few minutes.

So that the connection to your eclipso mailbox can be established, please enter the following POP3 / IMAP / SMTP data when configuring the e-mail client. We recommend the configuration using the secure encryption protocol SSL / TLS.

 
  • Incoming mail server: mail.eclipso.de
  • Port: 995 - Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • User: Your username
  • Password: as with weblogin
  • Incoming mail server: mail.eclipso.de
  • Port: 993 - Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • User: Your username
  • Password: as with weblogin
  • Outgoing mail server: mail.eclipso.de
  • Port: 587 - Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • User: Your username
  • Password: as with weblogin
  • Authentication: password
  • Outgoing mail server requires authentication: Yes (mark if necessary)
