As an e-mail provider and provider of cloud and communication services, we are aware of our responsibility and rely on sustainable business processes in our company.
With our environmental report, we would like to provide an insight into the measures we are taking Saving resources and relieving the environment as much as possible.
- Use of energy-efficient hardware - in our offices and in our data center
- Efficient programming - Optimization of load-relevant processes, simple and clear navigation, efficient UI
- Avoiding spam by using greylisting - With greylisting we achieve that in many cases spam is not even accepted by our servers
- Avoiding unnecessary printing - We avoid printing e-mails and documents as far as possible and reduce this to the necessary minimum.
- Use of recycled paper
- Use of energy-saving lamps and LEDs
- 100% green electricity from renewable energies - Our electricity supplier has electricity in its portfolio that is generated exclusively from hydropower, wind power, solar energy, geothermal energy, landfill gas, sewage gas or biomass
- Scalable server systems - In order to meet the growing requirements, we rely on scalable and systematically expandable server systems (blade technology / cloud architecture) instead of power-guzzling individual components
- Power consumption per user: 0,01825 kWh/Month
- Free Air Cooling / Direct Free Cooling: The cool outside air is used to cool the data center.
- Cold/warm aisle concept: The consistent implementation of the cold/warm aisle concept saves energy when cooling.
