The app terminates unexpectedly, stops responding or can no longer be opened

If the eclipso Mail & Cloud app on the iPhone or iPad no longer responds, does not start or refuses service, this can have various causes.
 

To find out the cause, carry out the following steps:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed
  • Force quit the app (see also https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201330) and open the app again
  • Restart the device
  • Empty / delete the device cache
  • Completely delete / uninstall the application, then download and install the app again
  • Reset the device / operating system to the factory settings if necessary (don't forget the backup before!)
 

Error message: An error has occurred

  • Check the Internet connection
  • For a comparison test, deactivate the Wifi connection and open the app when the device has established a mobile phone connection
  • Please check via our status page whether there is a technical problem: status.eclipso.de
  • If the connection to our servers is interrupted, please try again at a later time.
